An old folk artist with minimal income lives in a house that is threatened by the roots of a tree. Each time he visits the corrupt district office for permission to cut the tree, he is turned away. One untoward incident is enough to kindle the spark of rejection of the system in this 2004 National Award Winning Film from director P Sheshadri. The film stars Dattanna, T. N. Seetharam, Neetu and Lakshmi in lead roles.
